Tid Bit - Jayla
Jayla designed her own Halloween Costume this year as Earth Girl! She has been taking good care of the earth by recycling bottles and cans and she even has her own water conservation system outside of her bedroom sliding glass door! She collects rain water, water from the Air Conditioner Condensation unit, and from the drippy showers! She uses the water to water the plants/garden and sometimes even filters the water with a water kit she got in Yosemite! Here is a picture of her Halloween shirt as she continues to make the world aware!
Tid Bit -Trevor
The reasons that Trevor loves Mommy:
He thinks for a few seconds...
First reason is 'cause you're forgiving
Second reason is you're nice
and third is because when someone is hurt you always run to them!

The Bodes Move from Soncillo to Encorvado Lane! - May 2011
In May we made a big decision to move to Encorvado Lane where Kristi grew up! We have enjoyed beautiful sunsets, old and new neighbors, walks around Kristi's old stomping grounds including fun at Cordillera Elementary school, and strolls down memory lane. Dan just finished adding an interior room for Jayla and Summer! The house once again is becoming not only a house but our home.

Santa's Elves Still Visiting Summer and Jayla!
On Christmas Eve this year Jayla and Summer left a note for Santa asking them to leave an elf behind and that they would take good care of it. Sure enough it is January and we still have two elves, Button and Buddy! They are enjoying the fancy card board houses made with love by the girls and we are all getting a little anxious that they may disappear and go back to the North Pole until next year someday soon. Today Jayla found Buddy on her fish tank looking in at Prince Charming!
Cute Tid Bit - Trevor
I was taking Trevor to school this morning in the F150, Daddy had the Honda Accord as he was taking Mackenzie and friends to school. Trevor asked me "Mommy, where is the flat car and the suburban?"
